I tested their $10 seedbox, which is the cheapest seedbox dediseedbox have available. For $10 you get 750GB storage, server on a 10mbps line and unlimited traffic.
Setup took minutes, as soon as I got my rutorrent url and logins I dove straight in and like an excited kid on christmas morning rushed out to test dediseedbox. I grabbed 50 torrents from a private tracker and fired them onto the seedbox.
I’ll share my experience on this dediseedbox review.
Fast speeds, consistent uncapped bandwidth
I was lucky enough to capture the highest upload and download speeds in one screenshot. The speeds were impressive.
Max download speed: 74.6 MB/s (although not typical)
Max upload speed: 27.9 MB/s (not typical)
Total data uploaded in a month: 17362GB (17.3TB)
You can see the daily upload totals represented by the bars on the screenshot above. I can’t stress this enough these traffic stats are the highest I’ve witnessed on a $10 seedbox.
The darker bars below them represent the downloads, you can see I uploaded fresh torrents every day.
I managed to hit these uploads by adding brand new torrents from a tracker homepage. More typical upload speeds were around half the speeds above, 15MB/s upload and 30MB/s download. In the beginning it’s easy to get blazing fast speeds on any seedbox, but as you build up the number of torrents, the speeds decrease because of the connection limits.
WebGUI rutorrent & CPU/RAM
WebGUI is great, everything seems to be responsive. I tested the capability by loading 50 torrents and starting all 50 at once. Although it worked well when the seedbox was fresh. After I built up 700+ torrents, adding 50 torrents and resuming all at once was too much for the seedbox to handle and it would crash.
It is perfectly suited for normal use, but be mindful of loading the box with too much resource intensive tasks.
This is an often overlooked part of seedboxes, and nothing is ever mentioned in the ad nor asked by subscribers, but it plays an important part in your torrent experience. Poor CPU and RAM can slow down the GUI, slow down hash check and unpacking of compressed files. Dedi Seedbox worked very fast with my torrents, I left the webGUI running for hours and it kept displaying without hiccups, hash check was pretty quick too.
Plex, OpenVPN and 30 other apps!
Dediseedbox supports plex on all it’s plans (not restricted to expensive plans) and it worked well off my android phone. It transcoded fairly well, although not as fast as you’d experience from netflix or youtube.
OpenVPN worked well for me, although I prefer HTTP proxies over OpenVPN.
There are tonnes of other app available which are 1 click installs from the dediseedbox admin, to name a few: Sonarr, Autodl-rssi, Jackett, Emby, Radarr.
Bitcoin, Paypal or Card
As well as Paypal and Card, Dediseedbox accepts Bitcoin payments. If you are so inclined you can pay using Bitcoin and I don’t think they’re validating your name and address 😉
No uploading on public trackers (automatically managed)
Dediseedbox automatically pause all torrents belonging to public trackers as soon as they’re finished downloading 100%, this stops unwanted DMCA and C&D notices. Dediseedbox have been around over 10 years, since 2010. I guess disallowing public trackers is one reason why this is the case. They can stay in business and stay below the radar.
Dediseedbox won’t be ideal for those who are genuinely sharing GPL/copyright free material on public trackers.
After I sent the money through paypal I got the account details in 12 hours and I was up and running. Support is ridiculously fast! I got answers after just 8 minutes!
They say that you should have speed around 11MB’s down and up but have had around 10MB’s down and 7MB’s up..
FTP is around 200-300KB’s (depends on where you are) but if you send 10 files at the same time they all will be around the same speed at 200-300KB’s so than you have 2-3MB’s
BTW i am seeding 23 files at the same time and still the GUI loads fast… I added a 60GB file and it use maby like 2-3 sec add it.
So if you need a seedbox than you should try this one.
Plan comes with 150 GB Disk Space and Encrypted FTP & HTTP Downloads as well as Unlimited Active Torrents. I’ve been getting 1 to 4MB uploads and 5 to 10 MB downloads.
Webui has RSS and torrent creator. I’ve been happy with the performance of this Box but this is the first speedbox i’ve owned so my expierience is limited.
Thanks for the review, based on yourt recommendation I signed up to Dedi Seedbox, and I’m really glad I made the decision to go with them. They’re by far the cheapest service for what you get, and speeds are really impressive too. I’ve got 5MB p/s upload on an adult tracker. Completely ridiculous upload speed. The tracker wanted me to donate around $15 for 60GB upload credits. But with dedi seedbox I got waaay more upload than that. Hands down worth every single penny.

Decent box. Found it to be quite slow when managing 20+ torrents. But that’s fine I don’t need to be constantly adding and removing torrents.
Speeds good. Price is very good. Worth the $15
Dediseedbox is awesome, I switched over from Ultraseedbox(limited bandwidth which is sick) & Pulsedmedia(Limited upload speeds) which are sick to Dediseedbox(Truly unlimted & no speed limit).
I think, I am the happiest person alive.

I had been with Dediseed since December 2014. NEVER had an issue. Just recently I was bored and browsing around their services to see what else they offered. Back when I got my service you could only get shared boxes in NL. I kinda found it a pain the speed at which I downloaded through FTP to the US. Well low and behold they now have US servers. I sent in a tech support ticket if I could migrate? If not find I’ll just cancel the NL server and get a new US one. Within a day EVERYTHING was migrated just like that.
